RLC Principles

3 principles

That shapes and preserves the culture is RLC

1. Healthy short term and fruitful long term

This applies to everything done at RLC; students' approach to learning, teachers' approach to

teaching, teachers' approach to earning and companies’ approach to growth etc. Sacrificing the

short term to gain something big long-term is not encouraged. Short term has to be healthy and

bigger fruits are in long term. Maximizing short term gains either in terms of marks or money at the cost of long term is also discouraged.

2. Love all students at any cost.

It is not possible to conduct ourselves such that all students gain in long-term without loving them. We must treat the students in the same way as we treat our own children. They may be sometimes lazy, sometimes obstinate but we need to deal with them only with love. This will transform them in the long term. If a teacher is angry with a student, it is hard to deliver a good class. It is in the teacher’s interest to keep only love in his heart while teaching.

3. Become better every year when compared to the previous year.

This points to the personal growth. Everyone must aim to grow in the areas that they consider

important every year. Growth can be monetary, intellectual or spiritual. It can even be about

learning one new thing every year. 10 years’ experience at RLC should not be 1 year experience

repeated 10 times!
