Foundation Courses

The Higher-Order learning class – 8 – is the first step in our long-term approach to teaching science. The children are encouraged to observe, experiment and develop the scientific temper. The focus is on creating and sustaining a spark for learning math and science. They are also helped in concept formation.

The Higher-Order learning class – 9 – is the class when children are encouraged to correct common misconceptions in science and math. They are helped to get ready for the more formal learning of science and for the board exams.

The Higher-Order learning class – 10 – is the class where children are taught to develop conceptual rigor and balance the learning with the demands of a school curriculum and exams. They are taught to develop a study rhythm for acing exams.
